VAM provides group mentoring to
prevent teen pregnancy and increase male responsibility. The program achieves this by assisting youth
in developing a positive life vision. VAM
promotes and supports the development of self-assured, future-orientated boys
and girls who are capable of navigating through adolescence and contributing
positively to society. The project is
targeted towards at-risk youth, ages 11-17, from North Central, Central, and
Mid City communities.
Eligibility: The program is available to youth ages 10-17.
Areas Served: Services are concentrated in the Central and North
Central regions of San Diego.
