Family Self-Sufficiency
The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program provides services to multi-problem, difficult to serve families in North Central San Diego. The goal of the program is to improve the ability of potentially employable family members to become "job ready." SAY San Diego staff help families to become stable through emergency assistance services and problem solving case management. Families are then supported to find and keep jobs by gaining access to affordable childcare, transportation and housing. A range of self-sufficiency topics are addressed, including resume building, searching for a job and managing finances.

income.
